About Tajweed & Fluent Recitation
Tajweed is the science of reciting the Quran according to the precise rules set by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). In this course, students learn advanced Makharij (articulation points), Sifaat (characteristics of letters), Ghunnah, Ikhfa, Idgham, Qalqalah, and rules of Madd. Teaching Methodology

Sessions follow a theory-then-practice model. The first 15 minutes introduce or review a Tajweed rule with examples. The final 5 minutes set a focused practice passage for the student to work on independently before the next class.
